It is an expanse of varied landscapes stretching 479 miles from the Nevada–Idaho state line to the Idaho Panhandle at the Canadian border. In between is a topographical wonderland with forested mountains, crystal-clear mountain lakes, cascading creeks and rivers, blackened lava fields and sage-covered desert.
Based in Boise, ID for more than a decade, Hiking Idaho is founded on the transformative power of individuals investing time being in the wilderness. We research and publish hiking guidebooks, a unique Idaho calendar, landscape puzzles, greeting cards and an Idaho journal.
